Abstract:

This article makes some considerations about the situation our education system is in, starting from Michel Foucault’s thought and Pierre Bourdieu’s social studies. A kind of semantic game has been used for this purpose: the public school – in some countries called State school – is not only a ‘gender school’ (intending this definition as ‘feminized school’) but is a ‘de-gender’ school, too. Which means, it is de-generated. The author develops a genealogical criticism to the psychopedagogic kidcentricity as subjugation device, today enhanced by the digital technology, in order to deconstruct biopolitically the negative side of this de-generation. Then she tries to overturn this in something positive, showing the revolutionary scope of teaching the adolescents who, because of their age, are in conditions to get out of their minority status, as Kant used to say.
