Against the objectivism of positivism, I maintain that there is no philosophy without culture, against postmodern relativism that not everything is culture. There is no thought without representations, but not every medium is a representation. Language is the universal medium of expression and communication. But language presupposes thought. Thought is not interior language: it is grounded on a mediation that is not of our senses, on a second mediation of our intellect grounded on the first concepts (those of intelligence). Culture is a plot of mediations, that requires that not everything is object of mediations.
