07. Lucio Giuliodori – L’autorità dell’estetica oltre il giudizio filosofico. Florenskij interprete di Kant

This paper aims to show how Florenskij’s aesthetics discredits Kant’s distinction between phenomenon and noumenon. According to the Russian philosopher, subjectivism and its rational categories cannot approach the noumenon, which requires instead a contemplative attitude. Therefore Florenskij does not accept judgments about art, but only a sort of frontal contact: a mystical experience. The latter unifies visible and invisible, transcending any gnoseological dualism.
